Sprouts Burger
You can't eat breakfast at night or dinner in the afternoon, but you can consume snacks at any time of day! Whether they're served with tea, after school, or at a birthday party. Healthy snacking is the ideal method to fulfil your cravings without worrying about consuming too many calories. As a result, here's a fresh take on the classic burger! Ingredients
For Patty:
- 1 cup Mung Sprouts
- 2 tbsp Green peas
- 2 tbsp finely chopped Onions
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
- 1 green chili
- 1 garlic
- 2 cloves
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds
- 1-3 tbsp Oats flour
For dressing:
- 2 tbsp hung curd
- 1 tsp tahini (optional)
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
To serve –
- 4 whole-wheat buns
- 1 sliced tomato
- 1 sliced onion
Instructions
- Finely chop the sprouts, peas, onions, chilli, garlic, and coriander leaves. Combine the sprouts mix, spices, salt, seame seeds, oat flour and lemon jucie in a mixing dish.
- Spread on a mat until desired thickness is reached, then cut into four rounds with a mould or a lid to get the patties.
- Grease a pan with some oil
- Cook both the sides of th patties until brown.
- To make the dressing, add hung curd, tahini, hot sauce and lemon juice in a bol and mix well.
- To serve, cut and heat the burger buns, apply the dressing on top, and top with a slice of onion and tomato.
