Will “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Have a Season 2? Here’s What Ewan McGregor Says

1 Mins read

Will Disney’s newest Star Wars series, “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” come back for a second season? The show, which wrapped up its first season on June 22, was billed by Disney as a limited series, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any chance for more episodes.

One person who’s been vocal about wanting a season two? Ewan McGregor, who plays Obi-Wan. McGregor told Entertainment Weekly, “It was made as a one-off limited series. And in a way, it does do what I wanted it to do in terms of bridging a story between [‘Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘A New Hope’] and bringing me closer to Alec Guinness’s Obi-Wan in ‘A New Hope.’ And so, for sure, that’s true.” He continued, “Would I like to make another one? Yeah, I would like to make another one.”
